My fascination with street hawker food is limitless. While the champion will forever remain those Thai-iced-tea-in-a-bag accessory drinks that you get near Khaosan Road, Bangkok, I've a soft spot for anything on a stick too. This comes close: a French baguette whose innards are smothered with some kind of butter/cheese concoction, speared and roasted over coal.

Yum carbs and fat! Looks like you are at a train station. Which one is it?
belgrano in chinatown. i go there almost every weekend but it was the first time i'd seen the bread thingie...don't go with super high expectations. it was slightly short on delicious, though not bad by any means.
We go there often too, but I have only seen the flat bread on the grills.
